Starting 1 June 2026
George Municipality will be conducting road repair upgrades in Genesis Road in Rosedale, starting on Monday 1 June 2026. The works will have an impact on the GO GEORGE services operating in Rosedale and necessitate the rerouting of services for the next 5 months.

R61F&R Pacaltsdorp Community;
R60 Rosedale-CBD;
R60A Syferfontein-Rosedale-CBD
Routes are to be deviated as follows (see maps)
Route 61F: Route will divert in Delville Park as follow: From Beach Road it will turn left onto Olympic Street, right onto Square Hill Street, right onto Panther Street and then turn right again onto Rosedale Main Road.
In Rosedale, the route will divert left onto Genesis Road from the north, turning right onto Adam Road and right again onto Genesis Road to Rosedale Main Road.
ROUTE 61R WILL BE SUSPENDED for the duration of the roadworks and will perform a community service between Rosedale and the Beach / Panter transfer area for the entire day.
Route 60 & 60A: Routes will continue down Rosedale Main Road, where it will stop at stop JERUSALEM 1455. From there, the bus will turn at the circle and come back down Rosedale Main Road. See map.

Route 61A Syferfontein Community will be the only route travelling to Syferfontein during this time. Passengers who plan to travel to the Clinic are advised to transfer to Route 1A in Beach Road.
