The annual GO GEORGE passenger satisfaction survey has kicked off with a team of 15 surveyors engaging with passengers at bus stops, business people, as well as special-interest groups. Several surveys will be carried out over a six-week period, ending towards the end of October 2023.
People all over town are happy to share their opinions about different aspects of the bus service, thereby helping to measure the overall socio-economic impact of the service as well as general satisfaction.
“We are so grateful for the community’s cooperation and overall attitude of helping us to improve the service,” said Morné Lakay, Acting GO GEORGE Manager. “People are in a hurry to get to their destinations, but that doesn’t keep them from giving us 10 minutes of their time when approached by surveyors. Without this kind of feedback from the users of our service and other stakeholders impacted in some way, we have data alone to guide us – we also need to know how our services are being experienced,” he said.
Surveyors are wearing GO GEORGE-branded identification cards showing the person’s photo and ID number.
