Lost and found

In their rush to get to work or school on time – or maybe a bit absent-minded on their way home after a busy day – passengers some-times forget some items on the bus. GO GEORGE encourages a routine of looking on and under your seat before you leave the bus to make sure that you take along everything you carried with you when boarding.

As we do our best to retrieve lost items for the owners, an enormous amount and variety of lost items have been stacking up at the GO GEORGE office, with nobody enquiring about it.

Lost items will from now on be kept for three months only, so please phone our Call Centre on 0800 044 044 and give a detailed description of the item you are looking for. The staff there will arrange a time that suits you to go to the office to identify your lost property.

Although a Lost and Found system is in place, there is no guarantee that your lost items will be returned or handed in. It remains best to hold onto your shopping, handbag, umbrella, cellphone, jacket or school bag, and double-check before you leave the bus.
