George Executive Mayor Charles Standers today met the latest member of the GO GEORGE workforce who is being introduced to the public at the promotion stall at the Garden Route Mall this week. Introductions were somewhat awkward since this employee does not have a name yet, so Georgians are invited to take part in a competition naming the new GO GEORGE mascot. On the left is GO GEORGE Manager, James Robb, and far right is Harold Basson, Director of Civil Engineering Services at the municipality. People have flocked to be photographed with the friendly chap who will make his appearance at the promotion stall between 12:00 and 14:00 every day, until Sunday.
