GO GEORGE aims to provide a scheduled, accessible, reliable, safe and affordable public bus service for the community of George. Selling almost 14 000 trips per day and transporting a high volume of passengers on 21 different routes all over town, a disappointed passenger or two, a system glitch or an unintentional mistake by bus staff might slip in.

GO GEORGE welcomes feedback and complaints as it enables us to improve the system and the service. For any complaint to be followed up and addressed effectively, please make sure that you provide as much of the following information as possible – take note that all of this is also printed on your trip receipt:

  1. Date and time
  2. Route name and number: for example, 7 CBD-MALL
  3. Fleet number of bus
  4. Bus stop name and number

We appreciate complaints being brought to our attention directly so that we may investigate or address them right away.

Phone our Call Centre on 0800 044 044 from 05:00 till 21:30 daily, or send an email to info@gogeorge.org.za. All complaints are logged and investigated and dealt with wherever possible.
