The Grade R learners at Heeltyd Speeltyd nursery school were extremely excited about their GO GEORGE bus trip to Blanco. The outing formed part of the practical component of their curriculum about public transport, and the GO GEORGE communications team used the opportunity to educate the little ones about general rules on the bus and the special facilities that make the bus service accessible to all people, including those with special needs. They were intrigued by the audio announcements for the sake of blind passengers and fell silent before and after every stop to hear the announcement about the doors closing and opening.
