COVID-19 LOCKDOWN: GO GEORGE reopens all Smart Card kiosks

Following the opening of the Smart Card Kiosk at the Transport Hub in Cradock Street yesterday, GO GEORGE is now also reopening the other three kiosks in Blanco, York Street and at the Garden Route Mall on Monday morning, 20 April 2020.

For the convenience of passengers in the Phase 4B area where the bus service has extended its network last month, a Smart Card mobile vehicle will be parked daily at Parkdene Secondary School, from 05:00 until 09:30, and again from 15:00 until 18:30.

The fixed Smart Card kiosks will be operational daily from 05:00 until 10:00, and again from 15:00 until 19:00, selling cards and doing top-ups.

Passengers who need to travel for essential purposes during lockdown are encouraged to support their local top-up vendors if they are open during lockdown, and to use their Smart Cards instead of cash to protect themselves as much as bus drivers and cashiers in the office.
